The Old Town in Stockholm is one of the largest and best preserved medieval city centres in Europe, and one of its foremost attractions. Founded in 1252 and filled with narrow winding cobblestone streets, it's like a living, pedestrian-friendly museum full of sights, attractions, restaurants, cafés, bars, and places to shop.
The southern bank offers a unique vantage point to capture the city, and on this particular evening a music concert helped to light up the night sky. Spend at least a week here (including the eastern island archipelago)... it's worth it.
